What you’ll get

You get the chance to be completely involved in the planning process from the very beginning. You get a set of our seasonal moodboards to pick your favourite from. We get together on a zoom call and plan your shoot vibe and location and you can share your worries and have your own say.

Our seasonal moodboards are a perfect way for you to check out some inspiration and pick your favourite vibe. You get more control and get to have your own input into the direction your photoshoot will take.

All your photographs will be stored in a private, secure online gallery that lets you easily share with your loved ones. You can also purchase prints and other keepsakes too.

A personalised moodboard will be sent to you before your shoot! This is customised to suit the shoot we have planned with you and will include all the information you need as well as some advice. We include things like props we’ll be bringing, props you should bring and some clothing advice. We’ll give you ideas of colours that complement each other and the vibe we’re aiming for as well as any specific clothes ~ stuff to wear for a wild swimming dip for example.

Hey Friends ~ here’s a quick introduction to who were are!

We’re Rebecca & Rob and we are Moor & Moon photo and film.

We take photos because we want to give everybody nostalgic postcards of their adventures and record their stories for them to relive.

You kick back while we get to work on your photos behind the scenes and craft them into a perfect representation of you and the shoot we planned together. We’ll deliver them via a private online gallery with 5 digital downloads (with the option to buy more). If you want prints you can buy them from right off the gallery.

The Magick Method

Sort of sounds like something we made up, and we suppose it is ~ but it works!

How does it work though?

It works by getting you out of your head and stopping you even thinking about how you look or feel and grounding you in the moment. We do this by give you physical things to do.

To start off with, we’ll just have you walk! You can walk, you do it every day.

We don’t have you walk far, just away abit and then back towards us. We’ll have you do that a few times, maybe giving you one or two things to think about each time.

Then once you’re feeling a bit more comfortable we’ll start being a bit more silly. We always bring a speaker with us and we put some music on to break the intensity. We’ll dance and get you giggling ~ nothing breaks anxious tension like a good laugh.

We settle things back down after that, bringing the energy down and we might even do an activity if we talked about one. Like going for a dip in the sea or having hot chocolate by a campfire ~ maybe even both!

What we never do is push you too far or too fast. We work with you to make sure you have a great experience and your main focus is always your mini-adventure and not on us with out cameras.

We’ll chat throughout, keeping things nice and light. We want you to enjoy being out in nature and we want you to create memories you want to cherish.

FAQs

  • Be comfortable. That’s the best piece of advice we can give you. Don’t worry about putting your best clothes on that don’t fit great or even worse ~ don’t feel like you need to buy brand new clothes.

    As long as you’re comfortable then you’ll feel a lot better about being photographed and that’s all that matters!

    Having said that ~ if you want to go all out and get dressed up and go somewhere for some epic shots then we’re in.

  • Bless you, we were pretty sure hands were a lie when we had our first photoshoot.


    Try not to worry, we’ve got our Magick Method that we run through on your shoots and 9 times out of 10 you won’t even have to think about what you’re doing with them. We have a few extra tricks up our sleeves to pull out if you still need some help though. Our biggest advice is to try to approach it with curiousity rather than fear!

  • We get a bit wet!

    If it’s 50mph winds and storming then we might reschedule ~ being out in the wind is the worst. It’s loud, we have to shout, you’re getting hair blown all over the place. It’s just not a lot of fun.

  • We do! We love family shoots ~ especially if you want to bring your doggo along. 🧡
